Kim Sorenson graduated SJSU with a B.A. in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Humanities and a minor in Creative Writing. She continued her education at SJSU, Stanford, and various community colleges, expanding her knowledge in the areas of teaching and writing. She presented as a fellow with the San Jose Area Writing Project and has taught for over seventeen years. Her passions are poetry, teenagers, and distance running.
