Automagic Fundraising Opportunities

There are a variety of ways you can help the school raise additional funds just by the way you shop! Please consider using some of the following programs -- they're an excellent source of funds for CSMH!

Downtown MH businesses support CSMH!
Downtown Fundraising Program for CSMH continues for the 2008-09 school year! This program was launched 6years ago by some of our downtown business owners to support the Charter School.

• Shop at Booksmart and Jody's Junction
• Bring your receipts or a copy into the school and put them in the box in the front lobby
• The school earns credit toward purchases at those stores

Here's how the program works:

SchoolCash.com

• Shop online at over 250 brand-name stores on the SchoolCash website and up to 30% of your purchase will go back to the school of your choice (CSMH, right?) -- at no extra cost!!!
• How does it work? It works somewhat like Amazon.com except you select the organization you want to support when you go to the website. Our school is already registered. A first-time visitor would need to register by:
  1. Visiting www.schoolcash.com
  2. Select the school or organization you wish to support
     (Charter School of Morgan Hill)
  3. Complete an online form requesting a username and password (so that in the future, you just "sign on" and they know which school you want to support
  4. Click a link on their website to shop online at any of the more than 250 brand-name merchants on the SchoolCash.com website (including JCPenney.com,
     Barnes & Noble.com, Lands' End, LLBean.com and more
• Once you're registered, click on the link below to visit SchoolCash.com before buying from one of their 250 registered merchants. Click here to see an alphabetical list of all the merchants who offer rebates toward this program.

• They also offer a reminder service for installation on your PC so that it will detect when you are visitng a SchoolCash.com merchant and enables you to capture your purchases for our school! The reminder service only works with Internet Explorer version 4.0 or greater. You are given the opportunity to sign up for this service as soon as you register, but may install this free service at any time if you so choose. click here to learn more about this service.

eScrip

• eScrip is proven to be a fantastic resource for fundraising where participating business partners contribute a percentage of your grocery loyalty cards, credit card, and debit/ ATM card purchases to the school, group or organization of your choice.
• Register your Safeway Club Card and Safeway will donate between 2% and 4% of your purchases to CSMH. To learn more, visit www.escrip.com. Their website allows you to print out a registration form to mail in or you can register on-line!
• You must renew your Safeway eScrip registration every year! Please be sure to renew before November 1 each year to continue uninterrupted contributions. Visit www.escrip.com and click on Yes! Renew
• CSMH eScrip number is 6722991 but when registering on-line, you can also search for us by name: Charter School of Morgan Hill.
• If you're already registered for eScrip as a fundraiser for another organization, please consider adding CSMH to share in the rewards! When you designate multiple organizations, the funding is split evenly between those organizations.
• Q: I'm not currently participating in eScrip...How do I sign-up?
• A: You can sign-up online at www.escrip.com.
• Q: I'm already registered...How do you update my eScrip account?
• A: You have 2 options.
  • Internet & e-mail: To get a userid/password so you can update your account online: go to www.escrip.com and click on the 'Contact Us' link at the bottom of the page. You will be presented with a 'form' -- fill it out, including the CSMH Group ID number 6722991. Under the Questions/Comments section, tell them that you have not received your userid/password which you need to update your account info.
  • Fax or US mail: To update your account without your userid/password info: get an Update Account form in the office at school, fill it out and Fax it to eScrip 530-268-4843 or mail it in (use the address on the escrip form).

Target Guest Cards

• Target will donate an amount equal to 1% of your qualifying Target Guest Card purchases to CSMH. Schools receive their donations twice a year, and funds accumulate all year long.
• CSMH Target School ID number is 116755 but you don't need to know that to register CSMH as your designated school. Just specify Charter School of Morgan Hill.
• You can apply for a Target Guest Card on-line or in the store!
