Background & Experience

Russell Chagnon is in his 7th year of teaching Physical Education to grades K-4 at CSMH. He was born and raised in San Jose. He has always been involved with some type of sporting activity, from basketball to fast-pitch softball, to raquetball and other physical fitness activities. His love of children and athletics prompted him to apply for the PE position at CSMH. Russ has lots of experience as both a spectator and participant and stresses the importance of stretching and warm-up prior to any physical activity. He enjoys teaching his students the importance of sportsmanship and physical fitness.
