Background & Experience

Danielle DeRome grew up in Barcelona, Spain, where she attended the Escola Massana to major in ceramics and enameling. She returned to California to earn a B.S. in Environmental & Systematic Biology and a M.S. in Biology at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo . She took her California teaching credential through Cal State TEACH, Monterey Bay, and has a BCLAD certification in Spanish. Although she'll really miss doing art with all the K-3rds, she is very excited about teaching first grade full time this year.
